Sex charges, Internet Safety and Facebook photos

One of my major concerns has been Internet safety. I have created a PPT to explain some of the issues in more depth. Yet the message is not getting to susceptible young people. Teachers have a responsibility to educate the children in this regard.

Sex charges linked to Facebook photos

Sex assault charges have been laid against a 24-year-old man who police allege had illicit sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl in Castlegar, B.C., and posted photos of her on her Facebook site.
The RCMP are also trying to identify other naked young women in pictures found on the man's computer to determine whether further charges should be laid, Cpl. Annie Linteau said Friday.
The investigation began after a family member of the 14-year-old girl told police the man had taken pictures of the girl and sent them to her Facebook account.
